Frequently Asked Questions
We are trying to save money. Maybe I don’t need it filmed, or I can ask one of our family to do it.
Ask anyone who is married if they regret not having their wedding filmed. One of the things that we hear most often is: I wish we had filmed it, I would love to see it again. It would be nice to see the things that I may have missed during the day.
There is no comparison between a finished professionally filmed and edited event, and the shaky hand footage of a family member. It is night and day. One you will enjoy watching again and again with your family, and one you will watch maybe once and then store it in a box.
I don’t have a HD player, so why is that important?
Think of old grainy black and white, or VHS tapes. That is how they are filmed and recorded, and they can never be made to look like HD. You can’t ever recapture your day. While you may not have everything needed today to enjoy this in full 1080p HD, there is little doubt that in the next 5-10 years you, and most everyone else will. If you don’t know the difference in quality, ask friends or family what a football game in HD looks like. It is almost like suddenly wearing glasses…the image is just so clear and vivid.
Can I upgrade to HD at another time?
Absolutely. We save a full 1080p copy of your wedding on our server. If at any time you loose, scratch, or wish for a HD version, we can make you additional copies for a negligible cost. While you can’t play HD now, you will sooner of later.
So, how many years have you been doing this?
I have been filming and editing weddings and events for the last 10 years. I come with experience and professionalism that is unmatched.
Is my wedding going to look like a movie set with all this high end stuff?
No! We pride ourselves in being discrete and always keeping YOU the center of attention. There is nothing worse than having a film set on your dance floor. We dress in formal attire and blend into the background. Most people forget that we are there.
Your rates seem lower than most. Why?
We are all struggling in this economy and have adjusted our prices to offer you great value for the money. Most of our competition does not yet film in HD. We recently upgraded all of our cameras, and are truly state of the art. You get more than you pay for with us.
Do you charge for travel?
No, this is included in our price.
What states do you cover?
We film in the New England area: MA, CT, RI, and lower NH. If travel time is more than 90 minutes, we typically negotiate a travel fee that is reasonable.
How long does it take to receive the movie after our wedding?
It depends on our workload. A typical wedding is delivered in 4 -6 weeks.
How would you describe your style?
I try to tell the story of your day. I have an artistic eye, close attention to detail, and try to make movies that you will want to watch again and again.
